Four star campsite in Värmland

Family friendly Herrgårdscampingen is located just outside of Kristinehamn, within walking and cycling distance to both the town centre and to the famous Picasso sculpture. Here you can find comfortable cabins and spacious camping pitches all year round, right next to Lake Vänern, in a quiet and relaxing environment with proximity to both the archipelago and the city. During the summer there are activities and food service on site.

Cabins

At Herrgårdscampingen there are approx. 70 cabins with 2 up to 6 beds. Each cabin type has its charm. For example you can choose if you want to stay right by the shore – perfect for those who want to be able to take a morning swim before the rest of the campsite has woken up. Camping

At Herrgårdscampingen you will find a pleasant and family friendly campsite, with spacious camping pitches for both mobile homes, caravans and tents. There are 3 service buildings in the area and different categories of camping pitches depending on for example size and location.

Archipelago & beach

You don’t have to go far to enjoy the beautiful, fun and relaxing experiences that Lake Vänern’s archipelago has to offer. Take a tour boat or rent a canoe and visit Vålön, where you will find one of the archipelago’s most beautiful sandy beaches, or visit Skymningen’s beach which is right next to the campsite. Also, do not forget to visit one of the largest Picasso artworks in the world!

Playgrounds & Kids Club

At Herrgårdscampingen there are plenty of fun places where the children can play. Enjoy slides and climbing at the big ship. Balance walk over logs and stones in the Troll forest. Or jump and swing until your stomach tickles! During the summer the kids can also play and have fun with Jojo the moose in our Kids Club, and participate in fun activities.

Adventure golf & food service

At Skymningen Mat & Café you can enjoy something good to eat or drink on the terrace with views of the water. Here is also our adventure mini golf course which presents some of Kristinehamn’s best sights in miniature. A fun way to get tips on places to visit!
